Bio
Piotr Hańczyc is working at the Faculty of Physics, University of Warsaw. He obtained his PhD in chemistry at Chalmers University of Technology and Wroclaw University of Science and Technology. Next, he worked at the University of California, Santa Barbara in United States as a post-doctoral researcher. His expertise is in spectroscopic analysis of biomolecules structure and their interaction with small molecule additives.
The principle investigator in projects financed from European Commission, Swedish Research Council, National Science Centre. The stipendist of Ministry of Science and Higher Education and Foundation for Polish Science.
His research interests are in developing optical techniques for detection of biomolecular structures linked with neurodegenerations and tumors.
