Ali Golestani Shishvan, MSc
Bio
Ali Golestani is a PhD student at the University of Warsaw. He received his MSc. in Photonics from the University of Tabriz in Iran and performed internship research at Laboratory for Photonics and Nanostructures - CNRS in France before joining Quantum Photonics Lab at the University of Warsaw.
Ali has started his PhD programme in 2017 and his research interest lies in the areas of spectral-temporal shaping of ultrashort optical pulses, manipulation of spectrally entangled single photons and spectral shearing interferometry. He is also a visiting PhD student at Optoelectronic Research Centre of the University of Southampton in UK where he works on fabrication and characterization of fibre Bragg grating structures for applications in quantum technology.
